The i-CAT Cone Beam 3-D Dental Imaging System provides high-definition, in-office, three-dimensional imaging at a reduced cost and less radiation to the patient than traditional CT scans and delivers quicker and easier image acquisition.

3-D imaging is rapidly replacing traditional two-dimensional radiography in oral maxillofacial surgery (OMFS) because it offers high-resolution, three-dimensional views of critical dental anatomy, such as impacted wisdom teeth (3rd molars) and potential dental implant sites and their proximity to such vital structures

3-D imaging allows us to detect and evaluate problems, accurately measure jaw and bone deformities, and detect other pathologies such as tumors and cysts. 3-D dental imaging provides patients with more accurate information and assists in offering better diagnosis and treatment. as the nasal cavity, sinus walls and critical bone borders.

The high-resolution volumetric images produced by the i-CAT provide full 3-D views of critical anatomy for more thorough analysis of bone structure and tooth orientation allowing precision and accuracy in dental implant planning and surgery.
